The Château d'Ancy le Franc

 

It is a surprising Renaissance château situated on the Ducs de Bourgogne domains. It shelters the most important Renaissance murals collection which makes it the direct rival of the château de Fontainebleau.

An Italian architect, Senastiano Serlio, called by the king François Ier, gave it its exceptional harmony. Since July 1999, an expert team is making an exhaustive inventory of fixtures leading to the exceptional restoration deserved by this château.
